Discovering bad mobile experience

Okay, so due to a glitch I'll go into more at another time, I've had to step up my search engine game. Thankfully, there are some Google tools that make things easy to fiddle with.

Unfortunately, I found out that my CMS was generating a "poor mobile experience", which sucked, because I had gone through LOTS of pain to get it working. So, what the heck to do?

Well, it appears that while I can't figure out the secret handshake to get the version number out of the software, based on file dates I was able to infer that I snagged it around summer of 2021, and the next version update after that was in October, so it was unlikely I had that rev.

Looking at the changelog, that same next release promises "Improve[d ...] rendering on mobile", and hopefully solves my issue.

So, it looks like I'll have to figure out the upgrade process, and once that is done maybe I'll have a nifty mobile-friendly web blog.
