Wow, time flies when you are busy. Teaching itself has been going pretty well, and we are in good shape with regards to where we are supposed to be on the lecture side. I've been doing recordings of the lectures, which up until now I've only watched pieces of, as I fell behind a bit on them. I ended up building a workable process for the videos, but there is still lots of moving parts there. I ended up ordering and have now read 4 chapters in Liz Rice's book on Container Security. Its a good read so far, with the right balance and pacing, and lots of great info. What I need to complement it is some hands on, and hopefully that will come soon. I actually did spend some time on the RaspPi netboot stuff, and I confirmed I could mount the NFS share on theclient from the server, so that isn't the problem (or at least not the direct problem) on the not mounting root nfs saga. My guess is the stock kernel isn't NFS root mounting ready, as I think I have all of the other bits in the various configs right. I do have some leads -- there are postings at the RaspPi forums, and also a bunch of work Alex Ellis has done. So, more to do, and more to automate, and hopefuly soon!
