Ah, a NEW Pi, the Pi 5, has been announced. As usual, its an upgrade on the previous version, which is the 4. It looks like it'll be sold along side the 4, as havve been the previous models. The 5 will have at least a 4GB and an 8GB variant, but its not sure if bigger or smaller versions might be offered. It will have a similar port offering, with a couple high-speed USB 3 ports and a couple USB 2, along with a Gigabit Ethernet port. It will keep the 2 mini HDMI ports, and it'll get an additional camera/display port, now having 2. It'll be about twice the speed, and it gets a power button and a real time clock, which wull help with timekeeping.

Exciting to hear about. Only odd thing is stores don't have stock, so it can only be pre-ordered, so not sure when I'll actually get to hold one -- going to try and put an order in.
