Progress slows and learning sputters

Reflection is important and recognizing failures is just as important as recognizing success. In the last few weeks, I've built a routine for some pieces but have seen some things fall away, and I'd like to retrench a bit.

First, good things -- I'm adding interesting Kubernetes things to my list on a daily basis, and I've been doing so in a super regular way for a while. Recently I've started to do short reviews of the interesting bits, and giving a recommendation of sorts. This isn't yet a daily thing, but I think I'm doing more than 3 a week, which is not bad. I also broke out a book that I'd bought, Open Circuits, the pictorial book about electronics. Very cool.

Next, the not-so-good -- My Cert prep has gone to near zero, and I really need to bolster that. I'm hanging out more on social media, but getting less out of it. I'd like to convert some of that wasted time to reading magazines, books or studying something. And speaking of studying, I have to write my thesis proposal so I might have a hope of actually completing my program. I have an idea of what I want to study, but I need to get it out of my head and into writing.

Last, is computer lab and organization. I've bought some parts, but I'd like to put them to work and clean up -- either donating or e-cycling -- the things I no longer have use for.
