Having weird things happen is always fun, doubly so when you have no clue why they happened. This time it was a container, which refused to start a database because it was out of space. Okay, its possible, so I look for things that are chewing space with an eye to turfing them. I snip down a few logs but then I wonder, is the base VM here having a space problem? Well, it turned out that the base VM had the full disk, and I cleaned that a bit and we were back on track. Since disks are super cheap, running out of space is more unusual today, but even big disks are finite in size. I need to keep an eye on space and how that affects containers.
