So, its been a couple weeks almost, and there is a bit of progress. I've deployed a new 1Gbps switch to replace an ancient hub, configured and started to deploy a new WiFi 6 access point for evaluation, and have done some physical cleaning to boot. It doesn't feel like much, but its traction and small steps help lead to bigger steps. I've also been helping a non-profit and working, and I'm feeling impactful on those fronts. I honestly love teaching, but I think I was doing too much and I was a bit burned out, in retrospect. Its tricky to balance, because teaching with an agency that has constraints puts more stress on you, but the impact you can make with people can be so rewarding. I'm incredibly humbled by the expressions of thanks from students, and the hard work is worth it for them. I'm heartened by my estimating better, being more reasonable in what I think is possible and my having some itens get crossed off my list. I have a new month soon, and my focus here is to increase my capacity, get a bit better organized and to remember not to let perfect get in the way of good.
