Well, hello there, and welcome to a new thread in my blog series, focused on Windows Security and understanding. I have a lot of exposure to Windows, but not much exposure to the security side, and I'd like to change that. My first kick at the can here is to understand a bit of ReactOS, which I'm going to hack and document and test my acquired knowledge against Windows. ReactOS is a good place to start -- it's early in the new Windows process, circa WinXP/Server 2003, so that gives it an early in. Understanding the basics here will give some insight into understanding the later bits and pieces, and hopefully has a path from this to Win10/Server 2019.
