So, aside from my old tech box setback, I acquired a refurbed machine which I'm having issues getting to boot. I mean, I am able to cajole it to boot pretty regularly with breaking out the grub cli and doing some manual stuff, but the box refuses to load automatically from the install. Its a bit flustering, being able to boot from USB or a manual bit but not from the auto boot chain. One thing that a colleague suggested is flashing the BIOS, which is brilliant and something I'd forgotten. I need to figure out how to do it, but I did snag the files.

In other developments, I've decided to start to P2V all of my setups, so I have complete bits. It'll take a while to build things up, but having an image for each machine will make me a bit more confident about moving forward. I've also started to do a serious cleaning of my office desk and surround. My goal with this is to organize, file, and have a work area for projects.

Lastly, I want to aggregate logs and URLs. I have 5 different bits I built for hanging on to URLs, and its terrible. I have some dates and occasional describtions, but I'm sure some have been lost to bitrot. So I'd like to build something to capture, store, and feed me back URLs. On the logs side, I need a way to digest and surface things, and maybe a chart I can view occasionally. This isn't as high priority as reminders, but I'd like to keep this moving forward.

I may even want a spot to add things to do or things I might like to do, so I can keep it in things I'm working towards.
