I was going to write about being tired, but instead I'm going to write about better focus. I've built some nice helper bits for my life, but there are a few problems. One is that I've developed a set of routines which is good, but I'm not sure the output is that helpful. There are even some bits that I'm thinking should be automated, but I'm not feeling inspired to do that work. So, I want to start building more resilient and focused bits, that allow me to learn new things and spend time doing stuff that is valuable. Now, this is a laudible goal, but how do I action it? Pick one thing, see how I'm doing it now, and what I could do to improve it in a resilient way. Once I have a plan, estimate time needed and costs, if any. Then, decision time -- do it now, schedule it soon, or circle back at a medium time? Wow, I like it. Tangible, approachable, and action oriented. And I like that I'm not committing to a death march because I want to change or review. Also, I think I should consider proof of concepts or breaking bigger things into their component parts, to get a better chance of successful completion.
